We welcome those who have an interest in volunteering for the Amador County Historical Society. Ways in which you can help ACHS include:
- Helping to plan our events, including dinners and summer outings, and assisting at those events.
- Assisting at our office/store in helping us keep our doors open to the general public.
- Representing the Historical Society and recruiting new members at public events such as the Amador County County Fair and summer street events thru-out the year.
- Volunteer opportunities are always available for the following... Museum, Mine Model Exhibit, Ione Depot, and Railroad Crew.
Kennedy & North Star Mine Model Exhibits
Volunteers help to run the mine exhibit at the Amador County Museum. If you'd like to help, please come to the museum or email Judy directly.
Volunteering can deepen your knowledge of our county's history, introduce you to like-minded individuals, and encourage you to acquaint yourself with previously unexplored corners of our large and diverse county.
